Manes before reconstruction

Czech Fine Art Foundation (NČVU) presented its plans for an exhibition hall and the whole Manes buiding. Reconstruction is planned for 2010 and 2011 and should be returned to the 30’s  last century. Manes should come into operation as classical Kunsthalle cooperating with similar-oriented galleries.
On the structural desing reconstruction is working architectural studio HMA. Restaurant facilities will be entrusted to the company Ambiente.
Common label for the Foundation and the Manes exhibition hall created Bohumil Vašák. Part of the visual style is the font Manes, which was established together with Suitcase Foundry typographer Tomáš Brousil.
