Dogs bark in the night. Cones of light fall on the landscape from an overhead helicopter searching for someone. An unintelligible voice is heard on the helicopter radio. There’s a sudden cut and we’re transported to a motorway and the sight of a sports car speeding down the road. Its headlights fall on a sharp turn. There’s the sound of screeching breaks and the tires leave black marks on the asphalt. A door clicks, someone gets out and heads toward the hotel lift... ‘Kiss me’ will be the only two words we hear. What happens next? The trailer from the 42nd year of the festival is a rapid mix of film genres expressed in an animation of script, sounds, and music.
