The presentation of 100 design icons through a number of exhibitions and a publication uses the Czech flag as its main motive. The unique composition of the Czech flag, the only of its kind in the world (only the Philippines and Djibouti have the same composition but they add other symbols to the flag as well), was used as an ornament to create many “Czech” flags with different colour combinations, symbolising the diversity of design icons on show. The Hippos studio developed a variable architectural solution with perspex cubes.
