Black & White Inflatable Balls

After long decades Fatra Napajedla has decided to make new toys and it called on the young designers Jan Čapek, Anna a Jerry Koza and Zuzana Lednická to pick up the legacy of the work of the now legendary Libuše Niklová. Zuzana studied design and technology of toys in high school, but when working on designs for the new inflatable ball she proved to be a graphic designer first. Bold black and white patterns build on the original Niklová balls, and also the grids that Zuzana derived from Niklová’s work for the wallpaper at the Paris exhibition Plastique ludique: Libuše Niklová (1934–1981), designer de jouets.
