Pietro

Sans serif Pietro was created in 2019 as part of the rejuvenation of the Czech clothing brand Pietro Filipi. Like the company’s new logo, it was shaped by the current emphasis on digital communication and the necessary flexibility in print as well as online. The typeface’s one font with standard weight thus exemplifies a contemporary look at the genre, whose most famous representative is probably Paul Renner’s Futura. It balances between classical proportions, geometric rigor and functionality, and the universal appeal of its neutral form gives it a sustainable timelessness. The character set contains both small letters and caps with a wide language support.
