Jakub Matuška aka Masker

A long-prepared retrospective book and an exhibition of Jakub Matuška in the Aleš South Bohemian Gallery called "When the wings of swallows wipe out the granite block from the surface of Earth" is a summary of his work. From his street art beginnings his work took him to a surreal exploration of himself to seemingly calmed scenes from everyday life of a contemporary person and personal topics. The book is a rather complicated presentation of images, but also of Jakub's thoughts for which we designed a deformation of the font inspired by the author's style.
