Studio Najbrt Downloads

The open-access advocates among us have long planned to make some of the materials produced in the studio publicly available. But the lock-down preventing the spread of Covid-19 and the fact that the entire studio has been working from home for the third week now have pushed us to action. Over the next few days, we will make available three of our publications on this website in a user-friendly form. We start with the “big” book Life Happiness Surprise, which the studio prepared in 2007 with Alan Záruba and Michal Nanoru (and got the Czech Grand Design Designer of the Year award for it). This will be followed by publications published on the occasion of the extensive retrospective Najbrt (Moravian Gallery, Brno Biennial, 2018) and the Studio Najbrt Basics (the Gallery of West Bohemia, Pilsen, 2019), both compiled by Michal Nanoru. Curfew may soon pass, but the Downloads section shall stay.
