Izaak Reich

The Izaak Reich Glassworks, founded by Adam Havlíček in 2022 on the Zikmundov estate, continues the more than 150-year tradition and legacy of Izaak Reich, the founder of the local glassmaking dynasty from the 19th century. The first Linden collection, inspired by the shape of a lime leaf from a tree at the original glassworks, is the work of glass designer Rony Plesl. The development on the shape of the glasses also involved the Moravian winemaker Jaromír Gala.

The IZAAK REICH logo, with contrasting shading of the strokes and subtle serifs at the letter ‘I’, is complemented by the symbol-slit IR, inspired by the foot of the glass, which also adorns its stem. The Untitled Sans sans-serif font and hot stamping in the colour of molten glass underline the high quality of this small glassworks.

The visual style is consistently reflected in the functional and eco-friendly packaging designed by Jan Činčera, the company's printed materials, leaflets and certificates, right through to the bespoke e-commerce website.
