The Italians 2020
Together with a new name of the Prague and London markets – Wine Food is now The Italians – comes a new approach to the annual catalog of Italian delicatessen and wine producers. Instead of being inspired by Apennine regions as in previous years (photographs from Tuscany and Piedmont), it celebrates the atmosphere of the second oldest cycling race in the world, the Giro d'Italia. The photos milk the passionate history of the Italian biking sport, the graphics refer to the classic jersey motifs and both proceed with lightness of a magazine. Here’s our favorite caption: “Leon Georget was eighth on the Tour de France in 1906. He had nothing to do with Italy, but hey, the picture is great.”
