BOHEMIA: History of an Idea, 1950–2000
One year after its opening, Kunsthalle Prague presented another large group exhibition with an international line-up of artists. This time focusing mainly on photography, video and painting, created between 1950 and 2000. The exhibition thematizes the art bohemian as a worldwide phenomenon.
The graphic design of the exhibition and catalogue follows the unified visual style of the Kunsthalle and for the first time uses an unexpected combination of fonts from the gallery's complementary font family - Suisse Mono and Suisse Works. The theme of the exhibition is also written into the colour scheme of the catalogue - from the iconic blue velvet on the cover to the combination of dark green and bright orange inside.
