Bokovka

Aleš Najbrt, Jan Hřebejk, David Ondříček, Tono Stano, Jan Bejšovec and Stanislav Diviš had founded a wine club and not long afterwards, a wine bar named Bokovka (Sideways). Tomáš Karpíšek joined the club recently, with him came Ambiente backing and after eight years Bokovka has opened with a new concept and with design facelift by Zuzana Lednická and Bohumil Vašák, that made everything a bit smudgy. All wines now cost 100 CZK, only it will get you a glass of some and spoonful of other. There’s always twenty bottles open at Pštrossova 8 in Prague and when you finish one, you choose the next to open. Great wines by small glasses.
