36th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival
This is the first year of our collaboration with photographer Adam Holý and a new approach to the festival’s promotion. The previous aesthetic style was replaced by humour and we tried to get a different look for the festival’s graphic designed every year since 2001. This year, we had projector operator Eddie and a series of photographic logotypes for each of the eight themes directed by Ivan Zachariáš. Eddie scratching his head with the reluctant look of a Ukrainian worker has become a slightly “different” festival icon for the new century.
