Area Four Industries
Rougher than rock'n'roll stars, which move from town to town leaving behind a string of broken hearts and blank alimony forms are only riggers. They build the stage, enjoy the concert, pack the structure until six in the morning, then jump into the truck and drive to the next gig. And riggers are customers of Area Four Industries alliance, which forms the largest manufacturer of event equipment in the world. Bohumil Vašák built the outline of the new, heavy A4I logo, which represents its four companies, of parts so that it can lay or stand on his head as rostrum or truss cell. The logo was unveiled at the Frankfurt Prolight + Sound fair at a booth designed together with the architect Šárka Ziková. Its twenty-foot screens projected the visual style dominated by a mascot rigger drawn by Martin Groch.
