Michal Štěpánek: Nad večerní černí

The tale of darkness, that lacks depth, was originally created as a good night story for the daughter of the author and publisher Michal Štěpánek. The artist Nikola Logosová built a black-and-white night world on the story, and Zuzana Lednická, in addition to the graphic design, added a layer of luminescent color to the large board book, which led to extra secret layers of text and illustrations. For the designer, this meant an unexpected return to her own diploma thesis from 1999 on a graphic design studio, where work is done during the day and dreams and creativity abound at night. A studio or children's room, the more light you provide, the livelier they become after dark.
