Pavel Maurer: Hedgehog in the Cage

For almost four years had Pavel Maurer visited Jaroslav Foglar, the legendary author of Czech books for boys, and another nearly thirty years it took before their interview was published, accompanied by their correspondence and other memorabilia. “I asked Aleš Najbrt to design this slim book not only because of his talent. He was my first choice because as a member of the legendary Sklep Theatre he played brilliantly the role of Bohouš, member of the surreptitious Brotherhood of the Cat Paw in the story of The Fast Arrows,” writes the author in the preface.
