Federico Díaz: The Welded Ornament of the Times + Malich

Federico Díaz’s exhibition in CAFA Art Museum in Beijing has launched a tour, which Malich joined in the Finnish Pori to return together to Beijing and Chengdu. Street servicemen of three wheeled cycle rickshaws, one whom takes a rickshaw apart in the gallery where his movement is captured and sprayed on the wall by a robot, had been banned in the meantime together with the rickshaws. It erased jobs of an estimated two hundred thousand people in Beijing. The catalog of an exhibition that reacts to the current events and deals with the topic of a dying craft has a format of a newspaper with the size corresponding to the dimensions of the local daily in every city of the tour.
