Malich

The retrospective of the Czech painter, sculptor and graphic designer Karel Malich and its design highlight his range of expression and artistic resources. The diversity of approaches is further reproduced in the unusual number of accompanying publications of distinctively different forms, from intimate brochure with artist interview and scholarly texts, to folding picture book with animal watercolors, to black and white books of sculptures, to large-sized guide to the works, creative process and starting points of the artist in concentrated and accessible form. The exhibition is the talk of the town, the visuals change, but the name Malich remains on the street as a straightforward, outstanding logotype, reminding passers-by that they still have to see the show.
