Pavel Lev (1954) co-founded Studio Najbrt. He went to high school in Kadaň (1970-1972) and then studied Secondary Professional School Of Applied Art (1972-1975) and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (1980-1986, Poster and promotional graphics, the studio of prof. Eugen Weiglich). Between 1986-1990 he freelanced as graphic designer, in the years 1990-1993 he worked as a designer in Reflex magazine. There he met with Aleš Najbrt and in 1994 they founded Studio Najbrt. At the 19th Biennial of Graphic Design in Brno in 1990 Lev was awarded with the bronze medal. Outside his career as a graphic designer he became famous as a true member of a secret organization BKS, Commander of the Order of the Green Ladybird and a member of the musical group Finský Barok [The Finnish Baroque].
