Jana Kirschner: Idú/Muzika!
Limited vinyl with two songs from the second part of the double album Moruša, aimed at only the world’s most revered and respected record shops, has a single, subversive task: to leave a calling card of design and music from Central Europe in “all the world’s most hip and happening underground scenes”. No logos, no record company, no nothing. The task demands that if someone picks it up in New York, Tokyo, Cape Town, wherever and sees it is from Slovak/Czech Republics, they’d be intrigued. “When they hear what's inside they'll go bananas. ‘What the hell is happening in Central Europe?!’ they'll say. ‘How come I didn't know about this!’ they'll holler. And so begineth a new art/musical scene in our region, long overdue, some might argue.”
