The entire promotion of this Rudolfinum Gallery exhibition is based on a daguerreotype by V. M. Lobethal, the author’s wild and attractive self-portrait made in 1846. The invitation is printed on a see-through sheet, showing the same motive in silver on one side and in black on the other. This creates an illusion of the daguerreotype principle.
