Muestra de Cine Europeo, Segovia
Poster for the film festival in Spain’s Segovia shows a sequence of eye movement. It opens or closes, depending on whether you think the audience in the cinema wants or rather does not want to see something. In a subtle reference to An Andalusian Dog, the surrealist classic by Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí, Zuzana Lednická slit the eye, but the moment the posters are pasted side by side on the street, the eyes come together. The poster becomes the spectator and you are the one being watched. Your life becomes a film.
