58th Karlovy Vary IFF

This year we worked again with the number of the annual festival. This time the inspiration was a simplified floor plan of the Hotel Thermal, which we used to create an abstract black and white code of one square and three circles.


Maximum simplification was the basis for its further development. We transformed the symbol into iconic objects from the film world and the Karlovy Vary festival. Brutalist concrete, chairs from the Makhonin couple, boxes for film strips, an old camera, a projection from the cinema hall, LED screens, spotlights and film lenses. Simply a lot of different emotions on the floor plan of a fifty-eight.
