Jakub Spurný (1988), graduated from the Type Design and Typography Studio at the Academy of Arts and Design in Prague. In 2017, he graduated with the author's gamebook VIRUS, for which he placed for the second time in the Most Beautiful Book of the Year competition, was included in the Graduations Projects selection and won the Best in Design competition. After college, he joined Studio Najbrt, where his most notable works include the visuals for 54, 54 ½, 55 and 57. Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the XVIth All-Sokol Festival and the logos of Grandhotel Pupp, House of Lobkowicz, LINET and Bank iD. For the poster for the film Zátopek he was with Aleš Najbrt and Julia Vrábelová and awarded the Czech Lion for the best film poster. He is the author of several fonts, such as Werke, Ghitta Bodoni and BC 3018.
